Graduate Internship — 3 months
Three months of real work on a product schools use every day, open to every major. The role carries no salary — what it carries instead is a manager invested in you, work you can point to, and a reference that means something.
The short version
Three months, starting whenever you are ready. You will work on Saburati itself — the platform Saudi schools use to run admissions, attendance, scheduling and everything in between. Not a training exercise invented to keep an intern occupied.
The role carries no salary. We put that in the first line rather than the last, because you should be able to decide with the facts in front of you rather than find out three screens in. Everything below is what we put on the other side of it.
Open to every major
This is the part people usually get wrong about internships at software companies, so we will be direct: this is not an engineering internship. It is an internship at a company that happens to build software, and a company needs far more than engineers.
If you studied marketing, accounting, business, HR, or something we have not thought of, you are not applying to the wrong place. Tell us where your interest lies and we will match you with a manager who actually works in that area — someone from finance if finance is your thing, someone from marketing if it is marketing. You will not be handed to an engineer and left to figure out what you are doing there.
What you get out of it
- Real work that ships. Things you can point to afterwards and say you did.
- A manager, not a supervisor. Someone in your field who sits with you every week, looks at what you produced, and tells you the truth about it.
- A written reference at the end — an honest one, which is the only kind worth having.
- Something worth saying in an interview. Three months of specifics beats a year of vague.
What we ask of you
- You graduated recently, or you are about to.
- You can give it three months.
- When you get stuck, you say so. Going quiet for a week is the only thing that really does not work here.
We are not expecting a portfolio
You do not need experience. That is rather the point — it is what an internship is for. What you studied matters less to us than whether you are curious and willing to be taught.
Applying
The form asks for your CV and the areas you would like to work in — pick as many as genuinely interest you. LinkedIn is optional, and a username is as good as a link.
We also ask for a video of up to three minutes, just you talking: who you are, what you studied, and why you want this. Record it on your phone. Do not script it, do not dress up, and do not worry about how it looks — we are not marking the production. We ask because three minutes of a person tells us more than three pages of a CV, and because it is the fastest way for someone with no experience yet to show us who they are.
